Scope of the Position

Flex-N-Gate is looking to hire a Trainer/Implementation Specialist to help us implement a new procurement system (Ivalua) at all of our manufacturing locations.


  • Deliver training programs as needed that are developed for team members and ensure that new employees are provided the tools and information to be successful.
  • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and e-learning creation.
  • Schedule and coordinate classroom training with all facilities – schedule locations, date/time, materials, and attendance.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients.
  • Collect, compile and report results of evaluation, attendance and training data.
  • Work with Instructional Designer as they develop training material.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


  • Strong background in training with previous implementation experience.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement process, specifically in the automotive or manufacturing industry a plus.
  • Experience with a learning management system a plus.
  • Experience with Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time. (5 year implementation timeline across all MFG Facilities)
