Scope of the Position

The Information Systems Analyst role is to support and maintain the business applications and best practices. This position will focus on the building and  integration of a new Ivalua purchasing system(P2P e-commerce) across the entire organization. The person will troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required. Additionally, this role is responsible for analytics and reporting to drive adoption and improvements.


Position will need to travel to support and coordinate IS (Information Systems) projects as needed at various locations of Ventra / Flex-N-Gate globally. The position will communicate with all departments as needed and should be capable of serving their various information systems-related needs.


  • Integration of new Ivalua Global Purchasing System from a manual process
  • Administer downstream including but not limited to, Ivalua, ERP (various), Procurement Supplier Catalogs, PLM (product life management), and Maximo updates etc.
  • Act as primary operational contact with IT/IS systems to including technical issue investigation and resolution, system change management and coordination of routine updates or other meetings.
  • Drive supplier on-boarding, supplier catalog enablement and configure catalog templates.
  • Develop, maintain, and conduct training for users of systems; as well as support implementation of business applications as required.
  • Develop Procurement Systems reports, analyze and make recommendation based on data.
  • Review Procurement Systems adoption regularly and resolve roadblocks.
  • Develop and maintain governance documents and programs for Procurement owned systems.
  • Plan, manage, and execute varied Ivalua software configuration, customization, or solution development projects.
  • Enhance, develop, and configure system functionality, workflows, UI, Catalogs, and technical connectivity (Configure web services using Enterprise Application Integration for consumption from third party integration software (IBM integration bus).
  • Work with end users to identify and deliver required system service levels.
  • Daily Operations would also include other duties assigned by the Director Information Systems or Information Systems Manager.


  • Knowledge of ecommerce systems and how it interacts with ERP and other downstream systems
  • 1-3 years of ecommerce / procurement systems experience; Procurement catalog experience a plus
  • Previous experience with Integration of Global Purchasing Systems
  • Experience with Supplier Catalogs and managing inside a global system
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain preferred or relevant experienc
  • iSeries (AS/400) Professional Services experience; Three plus years CMS (or another ERP system) and relevant industry experience a plus
  • Must be a self-starter who can assist the team on multiple projects or tasks concurrently and complete them on time.
  • Best practices for automotive manufacturing. Shop-Floor Reporting: Production, Scrap, and Label generation, procurement process etc.
  • Work with end users to identify and deliver required systems service levels
  • Query/400 (intermediate level); Knowledge of OS/400 (intermediate level)
  • Expert skills in Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint and background in MS Project.
  • Must have extensive practical knowledge of process documentation tools and techniques (i.e. Activity Flows, Flow Charts, Visio, Process Modeler, etc.). BlueWorksLive a plus
  • Prior experience in a similar job, nature of business and role.        
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Superior critical thinking skills and ability to structure analyses to solve poorly defined problems
