The Human Resource Intern will assist the HR department and the manufacturing team on Recruiting and many HR projects. The intern will gain hands-on experience working in a HR department in manufacturing industry. The intern will also assist with other HR administrative support functions:

Maintain Salem's communication: social media and internal Monitors and cork boards

Create videos and take photos

Assist with company wellnss fair, and contests

Assist with all company events

Scanning and filing

Maintain training matrix

Misc duties assigned

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to effectively multi-task.
Self-motivation and ability to work independently prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong Attention detail
Possess a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information
Valid Driver License – Minimal local travel may be required

Experience with social media
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Educational training in employment laws: DOL, EEOC, Title VII, GINA, ADA
